Tom McCann is a former American footwear retailer who was founded in 1922 by Tom McCann. The company started as a shoe-shining business and later expanded to sell men's and women's shoes. During the 1960s and 1970s, the brand became popular for its affordable yet trendy shoes. In 1979, Thom McAn was acquired by Melville Corporation, which later changed its name to CVS Health. The brand struggled in the 1990s and eventually closed all of its stores in 2011. Despite its closure, Thom McAn is still remembered as an iconic shoe brand that provided quality footwear at an affordable price.
